That was my first thought after seeing this picture of William Gibson trying on Google Glass:

For information to seamlessly integrate with your experience it needs to be presentable anywhere you are looking. Either that or it needs to plug directly into your consciousness. We may get there eventually with glasses, but it won’t become commonplace until its simply a part of your body. Gibson figured this out 30 years ago.

I couldn’t agree more with your opinion regarding wearables. I found and remembered you after going through names on facebook. You may still have tags to Oregon else I don’t think you would have come up in the FB rolodex when I looked up the roberts. I was your neighbor back in the day on Oleander St. in Corvallis. I recall you hacking a P.C. in 1983 or 1984. Those were the days before CompuServe! It’s good that things seem to be working out for you in CA. Glad you are a Mac aficionado, I’m a Linux man myself.
